The more ridiculous things I hear about in public schools, the more it makes we want school choice. As long as we have government monopoly schools, viewpoints we don’t want, or are completely unnecessary (like learning about trans-people in 3rd grade), will be pushed upon our children. As long as we have government monopoly schools, we will lose the battle. Anytime there is a one-size-fits-all, everyone loses.
I can’t help but think that years ago when all this started by taking God out of school, if Christians across America had immediately all pulled their children out and said they weren’t coming back until God was allowed back in, we wouldn’t be facing these types of problems today. Who was it that said “All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing.”

Although I can see why a peace center would make sense in the Middle East, it’s not as if the United States is clean of violence and war.

When populations suffer, they, like individuals, display hostile and self-destructive behaviour. If these behaviours are displayed by America, the superpower, they’re much more harmful to the rest of the world than if the same behaviours are displayed by some powerless Palestinians- the difference is comparable to the difference between a psychotic with a rock and a psychotic with tanks, planes, bombs, satellites, and nukes. It may be a good idea to help the latter first.
Before we worry about putting GOD back in the schools, maybe we should worry about letting Him back in the Church & in our homes.

BTW, a critique of transgenderism in public schools would be more authoritative if one at least understood that one’s gender and one’s sexual “preference” are two completely different things.
