Man, I am so lucky. My wife informed me that she actually prefers e-cards over the paper kind. She thinks they are funnier and prefers that I not pay the $4-5 the regular ones cost. I am thrilled. I hate standing around looking at cards, trying to find something that isn’t too lame. This will save time, stress and money. It is eco-friendly, too.
I use Hallmark e-cards. They have lots of free ones to choose from. The Hoops and Yo-Yo cards are funny.
The best part is that you can have the cards delivered at any date in the future, so you can sit down at your PC and do your cards for a whole year.
I love technology (sometimes).

I agree that Hallmark has some of the best cards, but my problem with them is that they have historically helped finance groups who oppose our Second Amendment right to own guns for self-defense. I’d just rather give my money to those who support such freedoms rather than to business who oppose them.
For whatever that is worth…
Hi Vance – I hadn’t heard that Hallmark did that. Let me know if you have a link.
By the way, I only use the free e-cards. Just do that as well and stick it to the man!
ROFL.
I didn’t know that – but good info. Thanks, Vance!
The problem with sending e-cards is that fake e-cards are a common e-mail virus and other malware vector. There is the risk that the person you send it to may discard it, thinking that it’s another one of the spammed fake ones.
Neil, I learned that several years ago, probably from NRA literature. I’ll try to check and see if this is still true.
Theo, are you back?
Moi? I’m just making a pest out of myself on Neil’s blog. I would make a pest out of myself on your blog, but you don’t allow that anymore (apparently, you’ve pest-icided it).
Theo,
Well, to be honest, it got to where the only people commenting were those who wanted to pick fights, and I ran out of time for that. If you wanna help me out, I’ll open it back up for comments.
Neil,
Sorry for the off-topic comment here… I’ll send you an e-card apology
