Pray for the President-elect

carenet-walk-05-55.jpgThe Bible teaches that we should pray for our leaders, so I do.

Along with praying for the safety of them and their families, I’m praying that the dreams of Obama and the rest of the pro-legalized abortionists will be haunted with visions of the carnage of one destroyed human being after another — both the unborn and the women who had abortions, as well as the children who survived abortions but were left to die.

I pray that it haunts them 24 x 7 x 365.  Maybe after a few months of that they’ll change their views.

I also pray for hope and healing for those who were involved in abortions.  Forgiveness is available in Christ.

  1. I pray for Barak Obama to have a change of heart for the unborn. He likes to quote “Whatever is done to the least of these…” He is referring mostly to poor blacks. There are none so vulnerable as the unborn.

  2. i have already started to pray. i did so with my 8 yr old this morning. we watched and learned about the peaceful transfer of power while trying to explain about gov. branches and rep and dem.

  3. “Is there a proper blessing for the czar?”

“A blessing for the czar? Of course. May God bless and keep the czar… far away from us.”

  5. Neil’s right. We do need to pray for our leaders, even those for whom we did not cast a vote. For myself, I cannot say a prayer that does not include the welfare of the nation he has the miraculous opportunity to lead. I will pray that he is unsuccessful in putting forth those policies he claimed to have favored during his campaign. I will pray that he undergoes an epiphany that will turn against him all the ignorant supporters that helped put him in office, those that voted to spite Bush, those that voted to elect a black man regardless of who he really is, those that voted to elect a guy they believe will enable their sinful practices. I pray they all experience the same epiphany. I will pray the barring that, that the rest of us can succeed despite the economic follies that will befall us, that we can succeed in thwarting the full force of the sinful results of his policies. And of course I will pray that from amongst those who lead us conservatives will come the very leader we need to speak to the nation in a manner that changes minds from the “me firsts” to “the best for alls”. Lots of praying to do. From our lips to God’s ears.

So, what do you think?
