  1. By the way, Neil – I’ve added you to my bloglist. Hope you approve. If not, let me know and I’ll remove you.

  2. Dear Friend Neil, this is my second attempt to leave a message…I am SO NOT a blogger as to my first entry with my name…no message. Looking over your blog has piqued my interest and I am amazed at the depth of the writings, vastness of the resources & links, and LOVE seeing pictures of the family and reading the ongoing adventures of your family. I’m hooked on 4Simpsons Blog! I am marking it as a “Favorite”.

  3. Hi Neil,

I just noticed your new layout and template. Very nice. Good colors and fonts.

  4. I am always looking for the perfect theme in WordPress – something clean and easy to read but with a little color.

The old one was a little bland, but I wondered if this one has too many things going on. Thanks for the feedback!

  5. Hi Neil,
I really liked the old one. :) It made me want to switch from blogger to word press… but alas…
BTW, is there a way to convert a blogger blog to wordpress???
    Blessings

  6. OK, back to the sermon prep.

  7. Yes, you can import your blogger posts into WordPress. It is a simple 87 step procedure. Actually, it isn’t that bad, but it does take a fair amount of time. I’m glad I switched last year. Although one of the main things I wanted from WordPress was the categories feature, and blogger has that now.

  8. Neil,
It seems like there are more options with word press, you have tabs at the top of the page which I like. I don’t think blogger offers that. But I’m not sure how to control them.
    Blessings

  10. Friend,

I am searching for the correct Biblical response to The Secret, as it is becoming apparent that it will become an unwelcome theme that will find a way to build a thread at my site, which will in turn become a string, then a rope that will distract me from my intent to help others focus on the concern Christ has always shown about our well being of spirit soul and body.

It appears to me that it should be considered anathema to Christ, as Paul specifically used the term regarding any new gospel. However, many see it as partially usable. To me, a half truth is more potentially damaging than a complete and obvious lie.

I would rather not be the one who responds to this philosophy singlehandedly at CHC, even though I am the administrator. Rather, I would like to see Christians with the particular gift of discerning spirits to utilize their gifts in the dialog that will most likely unfold. I encourage you to spend a little bit of time every now and then at my site that I listed above.

Keep up the work you have been charged with here, and may Christ be glorified in your humility, sincerity, and intimate walk with Him, which is the only source of truth.

    Rick

  11. Thanks for stopping by. I totally agree with your statements which is why I moved it to a different forum and began with calling you a friend. I didn’t want anyone to draw that conclusion because you didn’t support Obama politically. Sometimes you have to beat haters off with a stick ya know?

Its more than obvious from all of your posts that you supported him as a brother (lack of a better word ;-) )

  12. I love your family! The photos are incredibly beautiful for the ballet. Is that you in the tu tu? Seriously, very, very impressive. I cannot believe an production with amateurs could be done so professionally. don
