Even the NY Times — that radical Right newspaper — reports no link between disasters and “global warming.”

Hillbuzz on Liberal Myths About Taxes – read the link – lots of nice graphs.

MYTH: The Bush tax cuts caused the deficit.

FACT: In 2002, tax revenues were $1.85 trillion. In 2007, revenues were $2.57 trillion — a 39 percent INCREASE.

MYTH: The rich don’t pay taxes.

FACT: The top 1% of income earners pay 40% of all federal income taxes. The top 5% pay 60%. Everyone in the $200,000 plus tax bracket pays MORE than one fourth of their adjusted gross income in federal taxes. They almost certainly also coughed up a great deal in state and local taxes as well.

MYTH: People who object to the Obama-Pelosi-Reid agendas are right-wing extremists.

FACT: People who agree with Obama, Pelosi and Reid are left-wing extremists.

Planned Parenthood spent $638k to fight Alaska’s parental notice initiative – wow!  They really, really don’t like the idea of parents being informed that they grandchildren are going to be destroyed and that their children are going to undergo a surgery that has serious medical and emotional risks.  But you still need to jump through many hoops so your kids can take an Advil at school.  Aren’t you glad that Planned Parenthood gets hundreds of millions of dollars in taxpayer funding?

Outsourced Call Centers Return, To U.S. Homes – What?!  You mean if wages inevitably rise in other countries when jobs shift there, and if you offer better quality locally, that businesses might reconsider where to source their labor?  The “Invisible Hand” works, again.  I heart capitalism.  Hat tip: Total Transformation (he’s back!)

False teachers like Jim "the Gospel is all about wealth redistribution" Wallis and Chuck “Jesus is not the only way” Currie support the NYC Mosque and demonize those who dare criticize it, so they should be going ballistic over this:  Obama’s Hometown, Vastly Democratic Chicago, Denies Permit To Mosque : Stop The ACLU.  Why do the conservative, bigoted hate-mongers in Chicago oppose the freedom of religion of these Muslims?  Remember, the situation in New York is merely the right of citizens to exercise free speech in criticizing the Mosque location.  In Chicago, it is the government denying the freedom of the Muslims.

More importantly, why don’t wolves in sheep’s clothing like Jim Wallis and Chuck Currie stand up for the Muslims in the racist and conservative city of Chicago?  Hey, isn’t that where the President is from?  The answer, obviously, is that they are hypocritical fakes.

Remember, the situation in New York is merely the right of citizens to exercise free speech in criticizing the Mosque location.  In Chicago, it is the government denying the freedom of the Muslims.

Great advice by Randy Alcorn about giving comfort to hurting people

“Rejoice with those who rejoice; mourn with those who mourn” (Romans 12:15). We tend to do better at rejoicing. Because we don’t like to feel pain, we tend to ignore others’ pain. But they need us to become the arms of Christ to them.

The Atheist Arsonists vs. The Tea-Party Terrorist — More bias by the NY Times (surprise!) as they gloss over the atheism of the arsonists.  And wouldn’t this be the logical result of the “hate speech” by Richard Dawkins & friends?

Memo to James McKinley: If someone breaks into 11 churches, creates a pyre of pews and hymnals around the podium before burning the place down, they’ve gone a bit past questioning their beliefs. Don’t you think?

Of course not all atheists do such horrible things.  But it is interesting how the Times glosses over the motives and ignores the connection with the rhetoric of the New Atheists.  If they are going to blame the Bible every time a gay person is assaulted (as if the criminals usually just got out of a Focus on the Family “Love Won Out” conference) then they’d have to pin this on the New Atheists and the bullying of overweight children on Michelle Obama.

Who is the MSM pushing today to lose to Obama in 2012? Mitt Romney! — Hillbuzz is onto the MSM and how they manipulate Republicans into picking the nominee the Dems have the best chance of beating.

“No, we the American Media are not picking the GOP’s 2012 candidate and making him the most boring, milquetoast, beatable Republican we can find so that Obama wins the second term we promised him.  No, we are not constantly trying to convince Republicans to start hating Sarah Palin, the only person on the scene guaranteed to deprive Obama of that second term.  We’re journalists!  We’re objective!  We don’t have any agenda!  Of course we don’t think you are too stupid to ever figure out what we are up to.  That’s ridunkulous.”

Are conservatives and independents really so stupid to keep falling for the MSM’s manipulation of the GOP nomination?

Be sure to check out the new blog by Duane and Mathew, The Aristophrenium.  I’m not sure what the title means, as Dictionary.com not only didn’t recognize the word but wondered if I really meant to search for “iris diaphragm.”  Uh, yeah, that’s what I meant to type . . .

Seriously, these guys are great and their blog is off to a good start.

I’m pretty sure some pigs flew today.  Even the NY Times realized that the opposition to the Tim Tebow Super Bowl ad by NOW, NARAL and other pro-abortion organizations is misguided.

Back to reality: Dem. Senators Spent Weekend with Bank, Energy, Tobacco Lobbyists — That can’t be right.  I thought only Republicans did that sort of thing.

Many of Obama’s religioius supporters are jumping ship — they seem to have figured out that they were being used.  But many were fakes, anyway, as they were just politicians masquerading as Christians.

Be sure to check out Carlotta’s new book!  I already downloaded my copy.

We’re about to have taxpayer funded abortions in this country, because of the lack of ethics of Congress and the people who voted for all these pro-aborts — Stupak: My party’s trying to bribe me to vote for ObamaCare

Read about what Glenn and his wife do to spread the Gospel, setting up a table at a public pedestrian mall and giving away Christian books.  Nice.

What about the books left out of the Bible?  Conspiracy theorists like to think the motives were sinister, but if you work and think you’ll realize why the Bible ended up as it did.  Hey, Hop on Pop isn’t in the Bible, either.  What gives?

You can’t make this kind of thing up, folks: NY Times writer is not worried about abortion but she is worried about the pain that plants feel.

Dept. of Health & Human Services Sec. Kathleen Sebelius explains how accounting tricks will enable all taxpayers to pay for abortions.  This CPA is disgusted.

Some good news from the I am not making this up categoryThe NY Times published a balanced front-page article on pro-lifers and even included photos of aborted babies.  “Pro-lifers are portrayed as smart, convicted, and compelling.”  Wow!

Carlotta [check out her new blog format!] had a good summary of President Obama’s speech to the Human Rights Campaign, a pro-gay “rights” group.  Obama’s comments on oxymoronic same-sex marriage were not surprising, even though they contradict his campaign rhetoric and are 180 degrees different than God’s view on the matter:

You will see a time in which we as a nation finally recognize relationships between two men or two women as just as real and admirable as relationships between a man and a woman.

It shows how low we’ve sunk that someone could make such a statement and be taken seriously by part of the population.

Richard Dawkins cites fraudulent research, runs from public debate — Why won’t he debate Stephen Meyers?

Darwinian fundamentalist Ernst Haeckel’s embryo drawings were discredited as a fraud in the 19th century.

Yet they remained in high school textbooks for many decades and were used without criticism by Dawkins in a 2008 video!  What utter dishonesty.  He has to know how fraudulent they were.  Apparently he hasn’t evolved to see the benefits of honesty.  But you can totally trust what he writes in his books, right?

His [Dawkins'] popular brand of invincible ignorance coupled with foam-flecked fanaticism sells a lot of hymnals written for the kool-aid drinking choir. It’s not about science, it’s about creating your own private world where everyone is stupid except you. Dawkins is a self-help author for those raised by fundamentalist parents. It’s escapism. And if anyone asks them to debate, they can just deploy some insults and call it a day. Whatever sells books, right?

Dawkins does remind me a bit of Homer Simpson (“Everyone is stupid except me”).

Did you know that artificial breasts for a transexual are a “human right” as well?

A transsexual refused breast enlargement surgery on the NHS is to take her [sic] case to the High Court, at a cost of tens of thousands of pounds to the hospital’s budget.

The legally aided gender dysphoria sufferer, who has been living as a woman for over 10 years, says breast augmentation is essential to her [sic] female identity and emotional well-being and the refusal to give her [sic] the op amounts to sex discrimination.

Fulfilling that right via socialized medicine is way more important than pesky little problems like this one:

An 80-year-old grandmother who doctors identified as terminally ill and left to starve to death has recovered after her outraged daughter intervened.

Hazel Fenton, from East Sussex, is alive nine months after medics ruled she had only days to live, withdrew her antibiotics and denied her artificial feeding. The former school matron had been placed on a controversial care plan intended to ease the last days of dying patients.
